Sometimes life turns out differently than you have imagined and planned.

At the moment life teaches us not to take things for granted, to handle new situations and nevertheless not to lose your positive attitude to life. We would like to give you information on some of our safety measures and ensure you that the protection of our guests at the Alpenhof is and has always been our highest priority.

A complex set of measures regarding safety measures and hygiene is always updated by our Alpenhof-Covid-19 expert and adapted to the newest guidelines. Despite the current uncertain situation it is our biggest task to keep our promise to make our guests feel good with according safety precautions.

Our unique location in the middle of Salzburg’s mountain world does not only provide enough fresh air to breathe through but also enough space with sufficient distance to feel comfortably.

Current information

Entry into Austria (as of 08.12.2021)

Every guest (older than 12 years) must present a valid proof of vaccination or confirmation of a passed Covid_19 infection ("2-G" rule) at the check-in. For children between 12 and 15 years is the "Ninja Pass" permitted. During holiday season, an antigen test is valid for 48 hours and an PCR-test for 72 hours. This also applies to foreign children. From 19. Feburar 2022 3G applies for all tourism in Austria.

Booking & arrival

Cancellations due to COVID-19:
For cancellations due to a positive Covid_19 test or infection, please contact us directly!

However, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance at europä

General cancellation conditions (for all cancellations not concerning Covid_19)

• Cancellations and changes made up to 3 months before the date of arrival are free of charge.
• Cancellations and changes made up to 31 days before the date of arrival will be charged at 40% of
the price of the entire booking.
• Cancellations and changes made up to 7 days before the date of arrival will be charged at 70% of
the price of the entire booking.
• Cancellations and changes made in the last week before the date of arrival, no-shows and early
departures will be charged at 90% of the price of the entire booking.
• If the room can be re-rented, these days will not be counted.

In order to minimise your costs in the event of a cancellation, we work closely with the European Travel
Cancellation Insurance as a partner. Below you will find the benefits of the cancellation insurance, which
you can take out directly with a booking.

Check-in & reception

  • We welcome you from 3 pm – arrive and feel good
  • Hand disinfectant dispensers at the entrance and at the reception
  • The check-in will be prepared as best as we can (please give us your personal data already before your arrival)
  • Biros as well as other office items are regularly disinfected
  • Key cards are disinfected before they are handed over
  • Our spacious reception area provides enough space to keep distance and to avoid queues

Safe feelgood rooms

  • Our room fairies are specially trained to clean and disinfect and will therefore provide a safe stay for you and your dear ones in your feelgood room
  • Daily room cleaning with high-quality cleaning agents according to the cleaning concept by the company Hollu
  • Please note that our room maids are alone in the room when they clean to guarantee the distance
  • At the check-out we ask you to vacate your room until 11 am in order to guarantee the cleaning and disinfection intervals for the next guests

Culinary pleasures

  • Hand disinfectant dispensers can be found at every entrance in the restaurant.
  • Large restaurant area with several rooms which can be separated
  • Buffets are provided under the hygiene precautions with the necessary distance
  • In order to prevent queues, we ask you for patience and self-responsibility
  • The maximum number of persons at one table: in not neseccer
  • Digital menus: Our food and wine menus can also be viewed online with a QR code and therefore without contact.

  • Comprehensive hygiene trainings for all employees
  • Despite the mask our Alpenhofians with heart try to read every wish from your lips and greet and pamper you with smiling eyes

Safe wellness & relaxation

  • Our whole spa and wellness area is open
  • Sufficient space and freedom in the whole spa area in order to keep the minimum distance of 1 metre
  • Information on limited numbers of persons at the pool and in the sauna can be found in the respective areas
  • We ask you for your self-responsibility
  • Disinfectant dispensers at the entrance of the spa area and the beauty & vitality area
  • Beauty & massage treatments take place without restrictions but with safety measures
  • Our beauty employees wear a mouth-nose-protection and disinfect and air the rooms thoroughly after every treatment
  • Please reserve your beauty & massage appointment early to avoid busy hours

Alpenhof children’s world

  • Spacious KidsClub with a soft playground which can be separated
  • Ill and sickly children cannot enter our KidsClub
  • Our KidsClub as well as all toys are regularly disinfected by our trained employees
  • All rooms are regularly aired
  • Adventurous children’s programme focusing on doing some activities outside
