How to get to Zauchensee in Salzburg, Austria

Perfectly accessible and easy to reach: Thanks to Altenmarkt-Zauchensee’s own motorway exit you can reach the holiday destination easily and directly. Only 45 minutes from the city of Salzburg and 2 hours from Munich, the ski region delights not only with a top location but also with snow safety. If you are traveling to us by public transport, you can take the train and then the bus from Altenmarkt im Pongau train station.

Your itinerary to Altenmarkt-Zauchensee

  • By car you simply take the A10 Tauernautobahn motorway and take the exit “Altenmarkt”
  • By train you can leave the noise of the city in Altenmarkt or Radstadt (express train station) behind you
  • If you travel from far then Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart (about 80 km from Zauchensee) is your nearest airport
  • We will be happy to organise a taxi or bus transfer from all stations and airports
  • Your room will be available to you on the day of arrival from 3 pm
