At Alpenhof, we take our environmental responsibility seriously and are committed to sustainable solutions in all areas of our operations. From power generation to heat distribution, from lighting to water supply—our goal is to act sustainably and conserve resources.
With our own photovoltaic system currently under construction, we aim for independent and sustainable power generation. Voltage optimization using technology from Schartner reduces our CO2 emissions by 9.5 tons. Additional measures such as load management optimize energy consumption and further increase efficiency. The lighting throughout our hotel consists of energy-saving LEDs, which are not only efficient but also environmentally friendly. To ensure a secure power supply even during outages, we rely on a backup generator from Sapotec, which guarantees continuous energy availability.
Thanks to the use of district heating from wood, we save over 1,822 tons of CO2 annually. This sustainable energy source demonstrates our commitment to ecological heating policies and underscores our effort to avoid fossil fuels and rely on renewable resources.
Using memon technology, we utilize bioenergy and neutralize electromagnetic pollution. This not only improves the well-being of our guests but also the quality of our own spring water and reduces the use of chemicals. The availability of mineral-rich spring water directly from our own source also ensures the highest quality and freshness.
For our guests, we provide electric vehicle charging stations directly in our parking garage.
In our kitchen, we focus on regional and organic products. This includes free-range organic eggs, Austrian meat, and fresh raw milk directly from the alpine pastures in Zauchensee. Each dish reflects our commitment to quality and sustainability.
